Starting a new phase of Beyond Work

How does a geographical location affect your chances at work? How is work defined and what jobs exist in Whitehawk, Brighton?

I'm in the early stages of planning this phase of Beyond Work, but it's been on my mind for months, maybe years. I spent a morning chatting with people at a Whitehawk community centre last year, in the hope that I might meet someone to document. I didn't, but it added to my interest.

I grew up in and around Whitehawk; my school was at the top of the hill in the photograph above. It feels like a significant progression of my work, adding a bit more focus and working in an area that's important to me.
