Haircuts and community work

Today was a good day. It ended with an afternoon working with someone that runs an organisation supporting community businesses. It started with an early morning haircut at the same barbers I always goto, my dad goes there too. I love the community of the place. And bang in the middle was my appointment to the board of the brilliant Brighton People’s Theatre. I loved the theatre as a kid. I was always involved in plays at school, and in my teens I was part of an am dram group in Brighton performing at the Theatre Royal. It was one of things that changed my perspective, gave me confidence and introduced me to exciting new people and ideas whilst I was growing up in East Brighton during the 80’s. I can’t wait to help give some other people that opportunity.
