Birthday Hike

We were blessed with beautiful weather for our birthday. Decided to walk from Alfriston (a birthday favourite on account of the local store selling the best sausage rolls in Sussex) to Lewes. The only disappointment was the closure of the pub in Glynde, which we’d continued onto after finding The Ram in Firle busy as usual. Always seemed like a lovely community feel in Glynde so it’s a shame they’ve lost their pub.
