Rooted

I spent the day at The Manor showcase on Thursday. The Manor used to be a place I visited weekly to do PE when I was aged between 4 and 11. My memories are of an old, damp and cold place, a place I wanted to leave the moment I walked through the door.

I like having my memories and beliefs challenged, and on Thursday they were. I now have a new memory of The Manor, one of warmth, community and the coming together of all sorts of people for the good of East Brighton. I'm looking forward to working with one of the people that have made this a reality on my East Brighton project.

I suggest you look out for Brighton Festival events happening at The Manor, tickets will go very quickly.
