Dead wood

I spent the day with a forester yesterday, for Beyond Work. I met him at home at 6am, and spent 12 hours listening to story's about work life whilst photographing and staying out of the way of falling trees. I learnt so much about nature, how it's often abused, but that there are also good people taking good care of it. I came home with a warm feeling in my heart. 

This is just the start of a year long study, and I'm really looking forward to my next shoot.
